Suzanne & Gerard  welcome you to their comfortable Guest House, at an altitude of 1600m, in the Alps, close to Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Glandon, Col du Galibier, Col de la Madeleine : many possibilities if you enjoy cycling !

Winter is ideal to partake in Nordic skiing, to hike with snow shoes, to sledge,  while downhill ski lovers can enjoy the exceptionally sunny slopes of Albiez le Vieux, or try the  Sybelles slopes (300 km ) starting from St Jean d’Arves; 8 km from here.

In the spring, summer and autumn, walks for several days can be organised in company of donkeys which can carry your bags.

Our rooms are non-smoking, for 2 persons (double or twin beds). Each room ( cosy, comfortable, decorated with taste ) has shower & WC.

Dinner in the evening, around the fireplace.

High Season : 85 euros / day for 1 or 2 nights

Low Season :          75 euros / day for 1 or 2 nights

Dinner :          In High Season Only. Reservation Required. No Dinner in Low Season.
24 euros.  Drinks are not included.
10 euros for children under 10.  Free under 3.
High Season : From 22th December to 5th January, from 9th February to 8th March and from 30th June to 31th August
Other periods are in low season
Local housing tax is not included :  0.60 euro / person ( over 13 ) / day.
Bookings :
Bookings are effective when we receive your deposit ( 50% of the price of your stay ) payable per international bank transfer or Paypal.
Check-in Time : 5 pm to 7 pm
Cancellation :
If you should cancel your booking, whatever the reason, your deposit will not be paid back
Payment :
Payments are to be made by credit cards or in cash.

In Saint Jean de Maurienne, follow the direction «  Vallée de l'Arvan / Col de la Croix de Fer» for 10 miles, then turn left to « Montrond » and « Le Chalmieu »
For your information, there is 12 miles from « Saint Jean de Maurienne » to « Le Chalmieu » which is situated 1000m higher than Saint Jean.
