Suzanne & Gerard welcome you to their comfortable Guest House at an altitude of 1600m, in a tiny pretty village in the Alps "Le Chalmieu" Albiez-Montrond (Savoie) close to many famous mountain passes :       
                     Croix de Fer, Glandon, Mollard, Télégraphe, Galibier, Madeleine.

Opposite Saint Sorlin d'Arves and Col de la Croix de Fer, Chalet Saint-Roch sits in a beautiful garden (7000m2) 12 miles from St Jean de Maurienne train station and 6 miles from Sybelles Ski Resort. It features a large cathedral-style living room with a bar, central fireplace, plush sofas and wooden beams.

Each non-smoking cosy and confortable room (double or twin beds) has shower & wc and offer mountain views. No TV in the room but a TV with satellite channels is available in the lovely shared lounge, with DVD player. Free WiFi. Bikes closed room onsite.

A homemade continental breakfast is prepared daily and dinner (ONLY upon request) is served in the living room, in winter & summer, according to the number of people.

Bookings / Deposit :
A deposit can be requested. If so, bookings are effective when we receive it ( 30% of the price of your stay ) payable per Paypal

Check-in Time : 5 pm to 8 pm

Cancellation :
If you should cancel your booking up to 30 days before your stay, your deposit will be paid back. Beyond that, it will not be refunded.

Payments are to be made in cash or by credit cards.

exit at « Saint Jean de Maurienne »
Then follow the direction «  Vallée de l'Arvan / Col de la Croix de Fer» for 10 miles, then turn left to « Montrond » and « Le Chalmieu »
Please note : 12 miles from « Saint Jean de Maurienne » to « Le Chalmieu » which is situated 1000m higher than Saint Jean.
